Q: As a professional, you get to let more of your personal style be reflected in your ballet attire—in three words, how would you describe your style?
A: Playful. Comfortable. Vibrant. Through the years, I’ve found I’m not afraid of louder patterns and prints in my dance leotard wardrobe!
Q: What's your favorite warm up or leotard that brings you joy?
A: My favorite leotard has to be one I received as a gift from my mom at the beginning of my third season with Ballet 5:8. It’s a black and white boatneck leo, lined with a poka dot trim. The best part is the fun pattern…dog paw prints!
Q: What are the top five things in your dance bag?
A pair of full-length leg warmers
A lacrosse ball I use to roll out my muscles
My trusty thera band
Deep Blue muscle rub
A rosary I keep in a side pocket
Q: What is one piece of dance wear or accessory you can't live without?
A: I can’t live without my earrings! Whether they’re small dangly earrings, or small pearl studs, my ears without them feel naked!
