Ballet 5:8 invites passionate, talented dancers to audition for our nationally recognized training program. With a foundation in classical ballet and a commitment to artistic excellence, our school prepares serious students for a future in professional dance while nurturing character, creativity, and discipline. Ages 6+ may attend, see times and details below. Adults may also audition for the Community Cast of Beyond the Nutcracker.

Audition Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025
Location: Ballet 5:8 Studios

Audition Times

  • Ages 6–8: 10:00–11:00 AM

  • Ages 9–11: 11:15 AM–12:15 PM

  • Age 12+ : 12:30–2:00 PM (Bring pointe shoes if en pointe)

  • Community Cast, Adults 18+ : 2:30–3:30 PM

All dancers may audition to be considered for Beyond the Nutcracker, Ballet 5:8’s annual holiday production. Some roles require full-time enrollment in the School of Ballet 5:8. Other Community Cast roles rehearse outside of regular class hours—typically on Thursday evenings during the fall. A full rehearsal schedule will be provided upon acceptance.

Beginning in the Fall of 2025 we will be entering an exciting housing partnership with Trinity College for the YEAR ROUND program with academic options for our Second Company, Trainee and Conservatory programs.

Live the college experience while dancing at Ballet 5:8.

Pricing and details will be available November 1st with Audition Tour registration.

Dancers attending the Conservatory, Trainee, and Second Company programs will have the option to stay on campus at Trinity Christian College. Dancers will stay in South Hall, which has complimentary WiFi, floor lounges, on-site laundry, and personal bathrooms.
