BareFace is a fresh and enthralling story that leans into the best of what dance has been and blazes a trail into what dance is becoming. Rubio Slager disentangles her story from the usual pomp and circumstance with a refreshing focus on dance as the primary mechanism to move the story forward. Instead, the story is almost cinematic in its pacing and storytelling, clever in its use of physicality, sweeping stage pictures and gliding sets to guide the audience into the futuristic world of glome.
Even if you already plan to see BareFace in person, we highly recommend joining us for the livestream. It's truly a story you will want to be able to watch more than once.

Our desire is to make this incredible story accessible to everyone by making livestream tickets donation based. Most people donate $25 a viewer to support the artists of Ballet 5:8. This is a livestream of the World Premiere of BareFace in Canton, MI. Your email confirmation will contain the link to the viewing page.
The livestream will be available through 7PM CT, Sunday, March 12. If you cannot start watching the performance at the time it premieres you are able to start from the beginning while it is live.
