In-Person Audition

Ballet 5:8’s auditions run like a Master Class, with corrections, feedback and a nurturing environment. We invite you to apply for all of our programs, including Summer Intensive, Second Company, Trainee and the Conservatory. Professional Company applicants may use this as their first round audition.

Pre-registration is required; audition fee is $35.
Online pre-registration will close at 11AM, Sunday, March 19. In-person registration begins at 1PM.
What to Bring/Wear
Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the audition
Bring a headshot and first arabesque photo (on pointe for ladies); photos need not be professional, only clear and well-lit.
First arabesque photos should be recent (within 3 months of the time of the audition).
Ladies: wear solid colored leotard and pink tights, pointe shoes.
Men: wear a white shirt and black tights/shoes.
For Applicants Interested in Year-Round Programs Only
Bring or be prepared to later submit:
A copy of your dance resume.
A letter of recommendation from your pastor, elder or other church leader who can testify to your spiritual walk.
