The Season Begins!

It is with much joy and anticipation of things to come that we write this post, which marks the first day of the 2014-2015 performing season. Though the dancers are just starting to take class, rehearse and get settled in today, we are honored to be able to embark on Ballet 5:8′s third ever performing season. Some highlights of the coming performance season that we’re looking forward to include:

  1. Preview Parties! Last year’s preview party in Frankfort, IL was fun, but this year, we are hosting the event not just once but three times in three different Chicago city neighborhoods.   6. The premiere of new works including The Four Seasons of the Soul .
  7. The addition of three new dancers to our team of company artists and apprentices! A big welcome to Company Artist Brette Benedict and Apprentices Annemeike Bruce and Torie Arrington.
